Dear Future Me

These children aren't spectators of history. They're part of its unfolding. Each painting pairs a young girl with a woman who changed the world — with augmented reality storytelling built into every piece.

The Artist

Rooted in grit.
Built for everyday.

Kate Kilpatrick picked up a paintbrush at age 10 and never really put it down. After earning her Fine Arts degree and spending decades making art on the side, she walked away from everything at 40 to build a studio on Main Street in Helper, Utah. That was 2012. Every painting, flannel, and jacket since has been made by hand — one piece, one story at a time.

Meet Kate

"No two pieces are the same. That's the whole point."
